City Wine Tours

Especially for those in the suburbs, it can be difficult to try out all of the many amazing restaurants in Boston and New York. I recently found a great way to get at least a taste and to have some great wines to wash them down.

City Wine Tours take guests on neighborhood tours through such historic and foodie-friendly areas as Boston’s North End, South End, Back Bay and Harvard Square and New York’s SoHo and West Village.

In addition to getting some fun and fascinating legend and lore, you also get to hang out in a reserved area of some of the top eateries in the area, all while learning about how to pair, purchase and enjoy great wines from the restaurants’ private collections.

You guides are all certified wine professionals, many of whom have served as sommeliers or wine stewards and all of whom are as interested in having fun as they are in enjoying great wine. So for a date, bachelorette party, or an intoxicatingly interesting afternoon, City Wine Tours are not a “pour” choice!
