The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

So many of the food producers I profile have incredible stories and many of them have a great deal to do with parental and familial love. I think of people like Vanessa Everett’s Angelic Mom pancakes and Diana Levy’s Undercover Chocolate that were created to give a delicious option for daughters with Celiac.

The latest story like this is that of Trafford Kane. Apparently, Kane wanted to do something special for his chidren’s teachers (who are ALWAYS appreciative of special support, said the journalist who also teaches English). He started to make salsas by hand in his kitchen and word quickly got out. Today, Kane’s Kitchen salsas are sold all over New England and also available at kanes-kitchen.com.

No matter what it takes to get some, do it-, because these may be the best salsas that this condiment freak has ever tasted!

Seriously! When I got my first jar of Kane’s apple salsa, I took out s bag of organic chips, but never even opened it because this salsa is spoon-it-up good!

In addition to the apple salsa and a trio of temperature-controlled traditional tastes, Kane’s also offers a corn and black bean salsa and a grilled pineapple that works with nacho chips and chocolate chips alike.

So whether you want to help a friendly neighbor who is trying to do well by doing good or just want a fresh new taste to top pretty much anything you already eat, Kane’s Kitchen salsas are the sauces to savor!
