BPM gets Beantown Pastrami Master

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:

With the addition of Mamaleh’s in Kendall Square and the always reliable Rubins and always pleasantly surprising Michael’s in Brookline, the Boston area deli scene is stronger than ever. However, there is not much in the city itself.

That is until now! As part of the amazing food, wine, and gourmet goods center that is Boston Public Market, Beantown Pastrami is bringing amazingly traditional deli style back to downtown. Each sandwich is cured, cut and assembled by hand, with a variety of fresh-made breads and locally-sourced cheeses and mustards, as well as sauerkraut, cole slaw and potato salad to make it just the way you like it. Or you can simply ask for a Reuben or Rachels or their famed “Pilgrim” turkey feast. For those of us who have watering mouths and unrelenting schedules, Beantown even delivers lunch Wednesday through Friday and facebook-ahead ordering is also available.

Please note that BPM will be open seven days a week starting July 18!
