Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on Boston’s 50,000-watt CBS affiliate WBZ AM 1030 weekdays at 11:55 AM.
The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:
The Sox Season may be winding down, but Friendly Fenway is still a great place to visit anytime of year. Whether you go for the Fenway Gridiron Series November 10, 11, and 18, the Hurling and Irish Fest November19, or drop by on the way to a Landsdowne Street concert, the Green Monster is a sight to behold even if it is covered in white.
And as cool as the wall is to see from the outside (or to sit on top of), dining inside is a whole new level of fan-friendly fun.
At the Bleacher Bar, locals and tourists alike can literally drop in to the Park interior and witness not only over 100 years of team history, but also a 12×12 foot window to the Fenway field itself. While there, they can enjoy Fenway Franks, Bleacher Burgers, arugula salads, and a slew of award-winning sandwiches, as well as warm pretzel sticks, freshly-friend pickles, and other delicious delights that are not otherwise available in the park or anywhere nearby. And while there may be nothing like a “sports bah” at Fenway, the warm cookie plate has all the flavors of home with a great view of home.
So even if you can’t score tickets to the game, you can always score with a great meal and a one-of-a-kind view at the Bleacher Bar.
Just don’t tell ‘em Bucky sent ya!
