Brookline bar lays claim to Boston’s Best Burger

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on Boston’s 50,000-watt CBS affiliate WBZ AM 1030 weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:

Boston has some of the best burger spots around and there are a wealth of competitions and showcases for them throughout the year (including the annual summer ritual that it Boston Magazine’s Battle of the Burger). So for a new restaurant to call itself the Best Burger Bar is no small claim!

Impressively, the new upscale burger joint in Brookline Village (just steps from the T stop) may live up to its eponymous hype!

In addition to offering first-of-their-kind dry-aged burgers made with certified Angus beef and all the latest, freshest, locally-sourced fixins, the BBB also offers a full bar overseen by Boston music and mixology legend Brother Cleve and a live entertainment calendar that will also help keep party people in the ‘burbs. It also offers the Village’s only outdoor patio, for those who like to be cool even outside.

Among the early faves for pre-planned patties are the Big Tex burger with Pepper Jack cheese, bacon, onion rings and the Bar’s own barbeque sauce, the So Cali burger with aged white cheddar, avocado and chipotle mayo, and a board of veggie-friendly options provided by Beyond Meat, the world’s first plant-based burger.

For those who want a bit more variety, the Burger Bar also offers hot dogs made with brisket and their own house kraut, as well as bourbon maple chicken wings, Manchego cheese fries, and other daring delights.

So whether you are in the mood for what may be the best burger around or just a col vibe in new place, drop by the Best Burger Bar and tell ‘em Cleve sent ya!
