Fulchino Winery

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com/) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

As California continues to recover from fires and mudslides and other climate changes, many have been looking elsewhere for new wine faves. While I have long been a fan of Charles Smith from WA state, I was thrilled to find another great winery right here in New England.

Fulchino Vineyard is a fourth-generation wine-making family from Hollis, NH that not only makes its own wines, but also has its own wine clubs and hosts other oenophilic events at its beautiful family-built estate.

Though the vineyard began using imported grapes from CA and Italy that founder Al Fulchino pressed by hand, they now rely in great part on their own bounty and family tradition for their traditional takes on everything from Barbera to Zinfandel, their Signature La Familia Blend and La Dolce Vita brand, and some New England-only wines like their peach and strawberry varietals.

From planting to harvesting to pressing and bottling, the wines are true family affairs and labors of love and that love comes through in every luscious sip.

So the next time guests ask you where you got such great wine, you can say, “I got my vino at Fulchino’s!”
