As much as we love to talk about food and all the people and events that make our food scene so great, it is always important to remember the millions for whom gallivanting off to a restaurant or gala is not a choice and the many industry professionals who serve up so much more than just great food.
That is why it is so good to see so many events like Community Servings’ 2019 LifeSavor event, which will take place on March 28.
Each year, Community Servings brings together nearly 1,000 diners with nearly 100 of the area’s best chefs to help their organization provide meals to families living with critical and chronic illnesses, train people in the food service industry, promote productive policies, and supports local farms.
After enjoying a cocktail party at The Langham, Boston (complete with music, silent auction, and other festivities), diners will head to such Connoisseur’s Corner faves as Abe & Louie’s, Benedetto, Catalyst, Craigie on Main, Davio’s, Grill 23 and Harvest, La Morra, Myers & Chang, Pastoral, and, of course, Smoke Shop.
What could be better than enjoying a multi-course meal with one of the best chefs in the area and knowing that your meal will help others enjoy as well? It is a great event that is sure to satisfy body and soul!
