The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Though their Argentinian neighbors may have had their Malbec moment, the ancient vines of Chile are once again bearing great fruit. And few vintners know the terroir better than Los Vascos.

Originally inspired when Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) expanded into South America, Los Vascos became the first French viticultural investment in modern Chile and continues to combine France’s rich Lafitte tradition with Chilean’s satisfying spirit. The result is a combination of Old and New World wine culture that is a pleasure to drink no matter where you are!

Located in a closed valley in the central zone of Chile that provides a perfect microclimate for high-quality viticulture that is also free of air- or water-borne pollutants, Los Vascos (which takes its name from its Basque origins) is also one of the largest vineyards in the region. From a standard and Grande Reserve Cabernet to a rich and ripe Rose to the celebratory Les Dix which was bottled to mark Los Vascos’ first decade of development, Los Vascos puts forth an array of impressive bottles that are perfect for any meal or occasion.

Los Vascos jus celebrated their 30thanniversary but you do not need a special occasion to enjoy their delicious tradition.
