There are few things more satisfying than a great grilled cheese sandwich.

On Sunday, May 19, at the Hyde Park YMCA, this tasty treat will gain a whole new level of satisfaction at the Great Grilled Cheese Festival which is being sponsored by the Chefs Table Foundation to raise funds for Veterans and youth in need.

In addition to all-you-can-eat gooey goodness, the family-friendly Festival will feature other tasty treats, as well as clowns, face painting, and live music by graduates of the world-famous Berklee College of Music.

Chefs Table Foundation is a 501(C)3 non-profit that arranges scholarships to the New England Center for Arts & Technology for veterans and youths who have a passion for the culinary arts. After training at NECAT, Chefs Table scholarship recipients also receive employment support and other benefits.

If you cannot make it to Hyde Park on the 19th, there will be similar scholarship events June 2nd at the Loring Greenough House in Jamaica Plain, June 9th at Adams Park in Roslindale, and June 15th at St. Theresa’s Church in West Roxbury.
