The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:
The first time I mentioned the term “Matt’s Meals” on WBZ was when I was on your overnight show talking about the life of a professional writer.
During that show, an old friend of our called to ask questions- His name was Bill Winiker.
Bill is half of the dynamic duo known as the Winiker Brothers who have been bringing music and joy to people in Boston and far beyond.
For the past few years, the Brothers have appeared (appropriately enough) at Brothers Restaurant in Coolidge Corner in Brookline providing great music to go along with the great food.
Recently, Brothers underwent a redesign. Fortunately, the Winikers’ music is still great and the menu has gotten even better!
From breakfast and brunch to dinner and late-night bar food, Brothers’ menu has expanded and added a bunch of what are sure to be favorites. Brothers will still feature their extremely popular brunch items like smoked salmon eggs benedict and lighter fare such as their egg white omelet or their healthy breakfast bowl, but now they also feature items like their house-made pasta fagioli, minestrone and marinated steak tips, authentic Northern Italian Parmigiana recipe and their famed Frutta di Mare and veal dishes.
