The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Do you remember that old TV ad for Budweiser that showed iconic parts of Boston? If I remember correctly, it included a shot of the Samuel Adams statue near Quincy Market.

Seems ironic, no?

Well, just as Sam Adams has supplanted St. Louis’ rice water as the official beer of Fenway Park, now it has taken its rightful place among the historical stops of the Freedom Trail with the opening of a new Tap Room at 60 State Street in Boston, just steps away from the Sam statue.

Speaking of great beer, Sam recently joined forces with Delaware’s Dogfish Head and also has a hand in such popular brands as Angry Orchard ciders, Tura kombucha, and Wild Leaf craft hard tea, so there is more than ever to enjoy from Boston’s best-known and most historic brewery. And while many of their beers and beverages are widely available, the Tap Room will offer special servings as well!

With seating for over 400 and a roof deck, there is plenty of room for a midday office escape or a refreshing stop along the Freedom Trail. Either way, Sam himself will surely look down on you and smile.
