PLEASE support your local food providers and STAY WELL!

The opening of the Encore casino in Boston has brought thousands of visitors and some of the best in food and entertainment to the city. And while the casino had to close when Covid-19 showed up, the Encore community continues to do what it can to support those who have made it such a success!

The latest show of appreciation has been the donation of vital supplies to area hospitals and medical workers.

In addition to donating nearly 50,000 medical-grade masks 4,000 sterile gloves, 3,000 N95 masks, and 6 applets of water to the state, Encore has also given up four full pallets of previous toilet paper. They have also given CHA Everett 2,000 gloves, 1,000 N95 masks, and even more toilet paper to help those in their own backyard.

The Encore staff has gone even further by distributing more than 40 pallets of food to local pantries and by distributing a sanitizing product called Pathcode that they make on site!

Perhaps what is most notable for a place that is known for taking money is that Encore has already donated $25,000 to Bread of Life and continue to pledge and offer support to other organizations. They are also launching a virtual volunteering program so their 4,500 employees can help while at home!

Apparently, when the chips are down, those with the most chips are doing their part.
