As we continue to talk about ways we can all support our friends and neighbors in the food business so they can support their staffs and also those in the medical field, let us also take a moment to thank those who are supporting our brave men and women in uniform.
In my column called Vetreprenurs©, I have profiled many such people, including coffee makers at Trident Coffee, Scars and Stripes, and, of course, Veteran Roasters. In the sauce space, there is the all-natural healthfulness of True Made Foods (who recently came out with a veggie-based Sriracha to go with their amazing no-added sugar ketchup) and the Southern spice of J. Lee’s award-winning barbecue sauces. Another notable Veteran-powered, food-related company is Keepzit Koolers, who makes customizable drink coolers that are not only easy to use, but make for a fun activity for kids and adults who are stuck inside!
