PLEASE support your local food providers and STAY WELL!

Though my radio spots are broadcast Boston’s NEWS radio, it is always important to keep the groove going, so I am thrilled to announce that one of my favorite record labels – Motown – has launched the ABC Initiative, a musically and alphabetically-inspired program of supports for people in need during the Covid crisis.

In addition to offering heritage grants that are similar to the one founder Berry Gordy used to start the label in 1959, Motown will also be presenting food, funds, and other forms of support (including music) to small business owners and others who have been suffering during lockdown.

In addition to partnering with their massive roster of talented artists, Motown will also work with Feeding America and #HashtagLunchbag and other organizations to make sure the aid gets where it is needed. There will even be custom coloring pages featuring some all-time Motown greats provided by Laci Jordan.

So even if you tune in to WBZ for the news (or more likely, for Connoisseur’s Corner), you can still keep the groove going by supporting Motown and the programs it is engaging to support those in need.
