The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:
I am a big fan of the New Rep theatre, Jordan, and in fact recently had the pleasure of seeing YOU there as part of a fundraiser for Upstage Lung Cancer.
As much as I love the performances, I also love the opportunity to eat at Strip T’s! Their wings, burgers, and other delights are worth the trip on their own, so I am very excited to learn that they are not only introducing new chefs Peter and Mareena McKenzie but also brunch!
The husband-and-wife cooking team had previously appeared at such places as Rialto, Ribelle, Shepard, and another area favorite, Pammy’s. Their new menu will uphold Strip T’s classic comfort spirit while adding such sure-to-be-faves as savoy cabbage salad, sweet potato sandwiches, broiled gnocchi, turkey stroganoff, pickle fries, and hooligan cheese, and the new brunch menu will bring a whole new day to T’s a with chamomile ricotta-stuffed French toast, sourdough pancakes, broiled oysters, and a morning version of their famed Sando.
