In an effort to support the over 1,500 workers who run their world-famous venues, Ed and Joe Kane and Randy Greenstein of Big Night Entertainment have not only raised hundreds of thousands of dollars with their B Strong Fund (the proceeds from which go to their employees) but have also launched a charity auction on their Instagram page (www.instagram.com/bignightent/) , the proceeds of which will also benefit their staff.
Among the available items are a post-game meeting with Bruins ace Charlie Coyle, a meet and greet with Guy Fieri that includes a gift card for the TV star’s two new Boston bases, and other unique opportunities for fans of food, sports, and all that makes the Boston scene so special!
According to Greenstein, Big Night had to furlough or lay off nearly 98% of their staff during the pandemic and he and his partners are dedicated to doing all they can to support every one of them. They have already personally pledged over $100,000 and are very grateful for their many friends and fans for pitching in.
So while we wait for the places where some of our own biggest nights have taken place, let’s pledge to keep the local scene alive by bidding high and often on Big Night’s Instagram page.
