While we all run around like headless chickens trying to organize our children’s online learning escapades (while keeping them off too much YouTube), it can be easy to let our own learning and enjoyment lapse.
Fortunately, our friends at Encore Boston Harbor are doing their best to keep their more mature fans in the know even when their facilities are closed.
On their facebook page (www.facebook.com/EncoreBostonHarbor/) , legal-aged learners can engage in such classes as gardening and floral arranging with Encore Chief Horticulturist Patrick Chadwick and Florist Sarah Bussell, cooking with Chef Joseph Liebowitz, mixology with Food and Beverage Director Warren Richards, and dog training with K9 Manager Patrick Silva. There are also guided meditations for all of us who need to take a minute to breathe and chill (which, let’s face it, is ALL of us!).
So while we may have to wait to enjoy the fun and excitement of a night at Encore’s casino or a delicious meal at any of their many eateries, bars, and lounges, it is reassuring to know that the talented team at Encore Boston Harbor is still doing all they can to keep their neighbors learning and laughing so we can al get through this together.
