New England Coffee’s 100th is “Extraordinary”

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:

While some may insist on their pink and orange cup or the newest green one from the West Coast upstarts, there is another caffeinated tradition in New England and this year it is celebrating 100 years of local community support.

As part of its 100th anniversary, New England Coffee has not only released a special Centennial Reserve, a new cold brew steeping kit, and new varieties of their famed flavored coffees, they have also launched a special campaign through which the company will honor extraordinary people in and around New England. Using the hashtag #youareextraordinary, New England Coffee will be taking their specially-designed coffee car around to visit the many employees and customers who have helped make them a local legend that stretches far beyond New England.

As a pioneer in small-batch roasting, New England Coffee has maintained its dedication to quality by testing its Arabica beans over 7,000 times each week to ensure that each cup is as delicious as it has been for the past 100 years. So if you know an extraordinary person or just want an extraordinary cup of coffee, treat them and yourself to a great New England tradition- New England Coffee.
