Our friends at Follow the Honey have found a new way to expand the hive. The workers who own the Greenfield-based Artisan Beverage Cooperative have recently opened a tasting room for their Green River Ambrosia mead and will be hosting events on Friday evening and Saturday afternoons starting in December. On December 4, they will also host a special holiday market with brewery tours, live music and treats from Follow the Honey, Nitro Cold Brew, beekeepers from the group known as Yard Birds Bees and also the folks at the bicycle-based Sweet Spoken patisseries which, like Follow the Honey’s delivery service in Boston takes the sweets to the streets on a custom-made bike. Sweet Spoken will be selling chocolate truffles made with Green River Ambrosia mead and Yard Birds Bees will have their local Western MA honeys, including a spicy honey that is great for seasonal drinks and desserts. In addition to pairing mead with sweet treats from Follow the Honey, the Ginger Libation and Katalyst Kombucha tap lines will be buzzing as well.
