Deluxe Depot Diner
As you know well, I LOVE diners. And while I appreciate and enjoy the authenticity of a Worcester-made train car, there are some diners that go over and above the genre to stand out as simply great places to eat.
Among these are the trio of Deluxe Diners in Watertown, Newton Center and the newest in Framingham. The Newton and Framingham locations are located in what used to be MBTA stations, so they are easy to get to be rail car or family car and are great for a before or after work break or a meal with family and friends. The Framingham location even has open mic nights every other Friday and live music Saturday and all of them offer full bars and their famed all-day breakfasts (which range from international takes on pancakes to entire menus of eggs Benedicts and over 10 types of toast). In addition to the local beers and international wines and spirits, the Diners also make traditional fountain faves like shakes and egg creams and also offer an entire tally of teas. They are all great places to drop in but they are also on Open Table if you do not want to sip their great coffee while waiting in line. The Deluxe family is as the name says- a diner deluxe!
