The app is free and easy to use. Just swipe on the type of lace you are looking for (such as first date, after-work drinks, live music venue, or place for coffee or dessert) and Date Seat will offer recommendations with descriptions of the food, ambience, price range, noise level and other essential elements, as well as images and even links to reviews from Zagats and other notable sources. The app is also customizable so you can find just the types of places you like best.
Even if you are not on a date or looking to taste some bear’s porridge, Date Seat can put you in the chair that is just right.
