Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.
The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:
It is said that wine is a great way to loosen up friends and colleagues, and that, whether you want to open a heart or close a deal, opening a bottle is a good way to start.
How much better, then, that there is now a way to open people’s wallets to help the causes that matter to them at the same time?
ViaOneHope is a new model for cause entrepreneurs in which they learn about and sell wine through private orders and home- or locally-based wine tastings with part of the proceeds going to the charities of their choice. This way, the host and others in need make money while everyone enjoys delicious, award-winning wines from the world-famous vineyards of Robert Mondavi, Jr. From the ASPCA and Autism Speaks to Pencils for Promise and Team Rubicon, the charity options are many and hosts can add any new ones they want. It is a win-win (or perhaps a win-wine) that everyone can enjoy and benefit from.
