With all the places I go and the amazingly interesting and creative foods I try, sometimes it is nice to settle back with a comfortable burger. But not just ANY burger! These days, we have our choice not only of toppings, but of meat, bread, cooking style, and pretty much any other option one can imagine. On August 16, Boston Magazine will be bringing together some of Greater Boston’s best burger-meisters for their annual Battle of the Burger. At this event at the Cruiseport in South Boston, guests will not only be able to taste some of the most lovingly-crafted and palate-pleasing patties on the planet, they will be able to vote for their favorite and win a local legend yet another accolade (as well as the right to represent Beantown in Miami in 2018)- all while raising funds to support Family Reach and helping families dealing with cancer.
From Bastille Kitchen and Burton’s Grill to the Fireplace and Wahlburgers, the Battle will feature some of Boston’s favorite flamers as well as desserts from Rancatore’s and other treats, making it a great night out even for those who do not embrace the Paleo lifestyle.
