Hard Rock Cafe

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ AM 1030 (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:

Summer in Boston means one thing- Tourists!

And while many of them will flock to such historic and venerable establishments at Durgin Park, Top of the Hub, and Legals, many may overlook a place with a great deal of history that also has great food as well.

I am talking about the Hard Rock Café.

Sure, it has an international reputation as a tourist place, but why does that have to be a bad thing?
Where else can you enjoy a made-to-order meal featuring local produce, a health-conscious kid’s menu that comes with a coloring book, stickers, and other fun stuff, and one of the best burgers around all while soaking in some of Boston’s best live music (including outdoor performances on the patio) and memorabilia from some of Beantown (and the world’s) best bands? From Aerosmith, the Bosstones and the Cars to New Edition, The Pixies and and ‘Til Tuesday, the Boston Hard Rock is a perfect place for visitors to catch up on the scene and also for locals to revel in the greatness that once was, all while enjoying a great meal they can feel good about (or at least enjoy feeling bad about).

So whether you regular pahk your cah or don’t know jimmies from sprinkles, the Boston Hard Rock Café is a worthy stop on your next Boston visit.
