Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on Boston’s 50,000-watt CBS affiliate WBZ AM 1030 weekdays at 11:55 AM.
The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:
The apples and honey from Rosh Hashanah have rotted and the chocolate gelt for Chanukah is yet to be bought, and I am already thinking about matzo.
Fortunately, there is a new food start-up based in Brooklyn (where else?) that can satisfy your kosher cracker cravings.
The Matzo Project was started by two long-time friends who met at summer camp and now are business partners. Though not kosher for Passover, their sturdy crackers come in a variety of forms and flavors that make them perfect for snacking and serving all year round and have been embraced by everyone from James Beard to Conan O’Brien!
Whether you like them with cheese, PB&J or a traditional shmear, Matzo’s got a brand new box! So as the business partner’s Bubbe apparently asks, “Would it kill you to try something new?”
