After pairing up with such fellow star chefs as Tony Maws, Jason Santos, Karen Ackunowicz, Rodney Murillo, and Josh Ziskin to support Share Our Strength and fight hunger, Colonnade Hotel and Brasserie Jo chef Nick Calias has teamed up with another local legend to help raise money for an important cause.
On November 3, Chef Nick and Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez will host the 10th annual fundraising gala for Pedro’s charity, which will benefit the people struggling the Caribbean after the climate change-fed hurricanes and other disasters.
Pedro and Nick have both been dedicated to using their talents and fame to support those less fortunate their entire lives, so it is natural for them to come together. And with Pedro’s star power and Chef Nick’s oven firepower (and scheduled appearances by Eduardo Nunez, Rafael Devers, Fernando Abad, and other Sox stars), the evening is sure to be a delicious hit.
