Each year, Bostonians eagerly await the latest edition of Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston issue to see what is new and hot.

Boston’s savviest set, however, knows that the real scene is at the magazine’s annual Taste event, which will take place this year on November 14 at the children’s Museum in Boston.

At the eighth annual event, chefs, mixologists, and other tasty tastemakers from all around the Boston area will come together to show off their latest ideas while participating in the singularly great idea of raising money for the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Among this year’s featured faves will be Mario Battali’s Babbo, Jason Santos’ Buttermilk & Bourbon, Loïc Le Garrec and Sandrine Rossi,’s Frenchie, corned beef Sultan Steve Peljovich of Michael’s Deli, and Andy Husbands’ Smoke Shop (which will soon be opening right across the street from the Museum!). There will also be supper sippers from our local heroes at Blue Fire Coffee, and Polar Beverages.

So if you think you are in the know, get a ticket or two to the Taste and be sure!
