Frenchie turns “une”

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com/) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

It is hard to believe that the new star of the South End- Frenchie – is turning one year old already!

It seems like only yesterday when I was enjoying the original and authentic (and still best) Frose in the region as I watched the beautiful people pass by and then drop in before or after theatre at the Calderwood or other area events.

But here we are! And far from resting on his laurels, Executive Chef Alex Falconer continues to look forward while bringing in ideas and even people from France (including Michelin chef Eric Sampietro, who usually helms Le Verdurier restaurant in Toulouse which is owned by the parents of Frenchie owner Sandrine Rossi) to help keep the Franco-American vibe as good as it was in the heyday of Spaghettios.

With its small plates and big flavors, Frenchie is the perfect spot for pre- and post-show meals, romantic interludes, or a later-night rendezvous with old friends and new. So whenever you want to talk, sip, and bite, drop down to Frenchie and keep the party going!
