Pammy’s Cambridge

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com/) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

While Cambridge’s so-called Third Square (aka Kendall) may be getting a lot of attention for the plethora of visit-worthy eateries that continue to pop up all over, Central Square still has a firm hold on the title of most diverse and inviting areas.

Adding to the ever-expanding mix most recently has been Pammy’s, a modern but exceedingly comfortable neighborhood spot that was created by Central Square neighbors Chris and Pam Wills.

Named the 2017 Restaurant of the Year by the Globe, Pammy’s shows off Chris’ cultivating at Clio, Rialto, Sfoglia, Café Gray and ABC Cucina, and other creative kitchens and Pam’s hospitable hospitality upbringing without overtly showing off at all. The room is fireplace warm and big-window open with a big communal table at its center and alluring aromas emanating from every tabletop.

The food ranges from a deliciously deconstructed grapefruit, chicory, and potato salad to 2.3 mm hand-cut pasta, and lobster tagliatelle to a Wagyu short rib steak that melts in the mouth. No matter what you eat, however, you are sure to be made to feel like family and to eat as well as you would at home, and probably better!
