While National Donut Day has come and gone for 2018, we aficionados now have another way to keep the sweet ness going all year- especially if we have our own little munchkins at home.

In Donuts- The HOLE Story, David Miller (he of the famed Slide n Seek series and other popular pages) offers a sweet and well-rounded poem that offers a wide range of fun flavors of sight gags and puns all based around our favorite breakfast pastry, dessert, or anytime treat. In the interest of diversity, Miller also includes maple bars, eclairs, pirated pretzel sticks, and other delights, all of whom become part of a doughnut-ty day of adventure that begins with a break from the display case, ranges from the an underground escape hatch to high seas.

It’s a sweet book and a hole lot of fun!
