As it continues into its second century, the Big E – the annual exhibition for friends and fans of the New England states – continues to expand its offerings and the waistline of its thousands of happy guests.
This year. The 102stBig E will take place in Springfield from September 14-30 and will include car shows, parades, a full circus, and concerts by the likes of Hanson, War, Ice-T, Morris Day, Tony Orlando, and Reel Big Fish, – all for one admission price!
In addition to Reel Big Fish, the Big E is famous for its really big food, and this year will be no exception! In addition to the world-famous butter sculptures, this year’s Big E will offer guests featured food and drink from all of the New England states and many others. The wine and cheese barn will be stocked to the rafters and there will even be a Big Eats competition that will feature such fair favorites as fried dough and ice cream and also out of the ordinary options like fried butterballs and Cowboy nachos.
So whether you want to explore New England without going too far, enjoy an old favorite band or find some new ones, or just gorge yourself surrounded by like-minded friends, the Big E is a best bet for fall fun in New England!
