The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Whether or not you are lucky enough to be in the room where it happens when the smash Broadway musical “Hamilton” hits Boston, you can still get an authentic taste for the life and times of our first Secretary of the Treasury at the recently-inaugurated Hamilton in Coolidge Corner.

With a kitchen helmed by former Ocean Prime and MINA Chef Paul Alphonse, Hamilton offers hearty and health-conscious brunch, lunch, and dinner options that range from blackened salmon tacos and hangar steak frites to a crispy quinoa and kale salad and Buffalo cauliflower to Guinness-braised ribs, their soon-to-be-signature Beacon Street burger, and deviled eggs that are just heavenly! Also- no matter what the dessert is- order it! The bar offers unique drinks named for and inspired by Hamilton’s fellow Founding Fathers, as well as regionally-produced beers (including over 20 taps and 15 cans and bottles) and wines that include such hitmakers as Charles Smith and Kim Crawford.

In an effort keep his recipes authentic and his flavors fresh, Chef Alphonse works with local purveyors, including Brookline’s own Clear Flour and Party Favors bakeries and the Coolidge Corner Farmers Market. Hamilton ups the authenticity of the new space even further by including a table made from wood from Old Ironsides herself!

So even if you cannot score tickets to the play, be sure not to miss your shot to make the other Hamilton a regular stop.
