As a foodie with many friends with special diets, I have long championed the purveyors who pay special attention to this growing and important audience. We recently heralded the expansion of Twist Bakery into Burlington and now have new news from Boston Public Market.

Jennifer Lee’s Bakery has recently transitioned into Jennifer Lee’s Allergen Friendly & Vegan Shoppe. From pantry staples and vegan baked goods to fully-prepared meals, founder Jennifer LaSala offers everything a sensitive eater could want, all with enough flavor to satisfy those for whom allergens are not so much of an issue.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, LaSala knows her way around a kitchen and brings the experience she has garnered since opening her first shop at the age of 17 to every delicious bite! Named a Global Entrepreneur of the Year at the age of 20, she has continued to keep her blender on the pulse of what customers want. This latest incarnation is already booming in Boston and LaSala hopes that people with allergies and sensitivities visit and suggest new ideas so she can continue to please even the most sensitive of customers with foods that are fit and fabulous for everyone.
