Having recently been named one of the best restaurants in Boston by Zagat’s, named to Wine Enthusiast’s Restaurant Hall of Fame” and awarded Wine Spectator’s “Best Award of Excellence,” Troquet on Southcontinues to roll out amazing new offerings, including their new raw bar cart and weekday specials that take the already tired $1 oyster things to their typically new heights.

The new cart brings the freshest seafood and shellfish right to the table, making it even easier to pick, sip, suck, and enjoy. From Gulf Shrimp to Alaskan Snow Crab legs to wild prawns, the Troquet cart also offers items many others do not.

And even when offering something that it seems everyone else is – oysters for a buck a shuck – Chef Al Soto has added a set of six grilled shrimp for $3 Weekdays at the bar from 4-7 PM.

This is all in addition to such fan favorites as their sweet lobster tater tots, chicken pot pie, Sherry-infused French onion soup, smoked duck salad, signature Caesar and double burger, and house-smoked pastrami Reuben, so needless to say, there is something for everyone at this popular spot.

So even if you do not have time to wait for the freshest seafood to literally come to you, you can still drip in and enjoy at least some of what Troquet has to offer and see what all the fanfare is about1
