The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:
I was recently back at Hearth Pizza in Needham (as I often am), enjoying the best locally-sourced pizza around, when I noticed bottles with pictures of what appeared to be a military serviceman on them. As I love condiments and am always trying to find ways to support our Veterans, I tried some on a piece of crust and immediately fell in love!
J. Lee’s Gourmet BBQ Sauce was created about 20 years ago by Army Sergeant James Lee. Today, it stands among the top-ranked sauces in the nation. It was named #1 by BBQ Superstars Network for four years running, has been served at the Super Bowl and the Oscars, and is available at stores and restaurants (like Hearth) all over. Lee was even awarded the key to city in Biloxi for his entrepreneurial spirit and service to the community!
The sauces are gluten free, low sodium, and Kosher and have no MSG or corn syrup. They also have a two-year shelf live (despite having no preservatives) and do not need refrigeration to be delicious! In addition to the Original, Spicy, and ”Sweet Heat” varieties, J. Lee’s also offers a diabetic-friendly BBQ Sauce, as well as a marinade, Southern dressing and Clearly Hot Pepper Sauce. With such a delicious and succulent variety, it is no wonder the company’s slogan is “Put It on Anything!”
No matter which bottle (or bottles) you buy, 10% of all sales go to support homeless vets. So how can you lose? The sauces – like our troops – are #1 in the world!
