The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

It’s summer in Boston and that can mean only one thing- Pizza!

For the third year in a row, the Boston Pizza Festival is bringing some of the area’s (and the world’s) best pizza chefs to City Hall Plaza on the weekend of July 13 and 14 with some help from the Dough Connection in Woburn and Catania Oils in Ayer.

Representing the Commonwealth will be such hot Hub hangouts as Bricco, Pizzeria Regina and Parziale’s in Boston’s North End, Florina’s Pizza in Beacon Hill, and Upper Crust all over. There will also be visiting dignitaries from Providence, Padua, and beyond, making sure that everyone can find a style and a space they like best.

In addition to tastings, there will also be demonstrations, acrobats, live music, and even a pizza-tossing station for kids!

Tickets are $15 and slices start at only $2. Or make it a deep-dish adventure by upgrading to the VIP experience for $50, which includes early access, unlimited slices, and a goodie bag filled with gift cards and other SWAG. Either way, the Boston Pizza Festival will surely not leave you flat.
