The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

While people continue to “ooh” and “aah” over the admittedly gorgeous new tower at One Dalton, there is another new noteworthy neighbor just steps away that is not only more accessible but very potentially more fun and satisfying!

The upscale fish and steak house known as Eddie V’s has made landfall in New England with a flagship in the Prudential Center and another location coming to Burlington this summer.

In addition to some of the freshest local fish and shellfish around (including shellfish towers and a caviar tasting, thank you very much!), Eddie Vs also offers the V Lounge – a comfy front room right in the Pru atrium that serves inspired cocktails like the dangerously yummy Mango Mule, special food offerings, a couple of flat screens, and live music from locally-sourced artists, all of which make it the perfect place for a midday nibble or after-work chill. There are also multiple rentable rooms that can accommodate any group from 10-100, all of which are fully AV-equipped and as comfy and fun as the rest of the place.

Among the many menu highlights are the Georges Banks scallops, the signature Maine lobster tacos with house-made tortillas, and the bananas foster butter cake that is flambéed tableside for a finale as impressive as everything else. Eddie also offers over 400 wines in a wide range of varietals and formats, including what they call “interesting” reds and whites that are always worth exploring.

So if you are not quite ready for tower living, start at the base of the Pru and eat your way up to the heights of delight at Eddie V’s.
