Hub Hall is (almost) Here

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (1030 AM) on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:25 AM and 3:25 PM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

When people in Boston are looking for champions, they can either go to Fenway in the summer or the Boston Garden any time of year.

That is why it is so fitting that the new champ of the burgeoning food hall movement will soon be opening right near the banners and retired numbers that recall so many Boston legends.

Created and curated by local heroes Boston Properties and international dining dynamos Patina Restaurant Group (which also recently took over food service at the Aquarium), Hub Hall will offer options for game-goers or anyone who appreciates good food and good times.

Speaking of Boston legends, Hub Hall will offer everything from to Chef Marc Orfaly’s Reel House Oyster Yard and Boston Soup Co. and Andy Husbands’ Smoke Shop to Sullivan’s from Castle Island and the North End’s famed Mike’s Pastry and even Star Market! The championship space also houses a hotel, movie theaters, and venues where fans can dance the night away even when our teams do not win.

For those who like to sample tastes from further afield, there is Now Pouring Wine Bar and The Draft by Banners, which will bring 60 tap lines to Banners Kitchen

So the next time you want a real taste of title town, take a time out from the ordinary and go to the place where our legends like to hang—Hub Hall.
