Pathwater blazes a new environmentally-friendly path for water

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Almost every time I produce new spots about food and drink, I try to make some mention of how tired I am of seeing new plastic water bottles on the shelves and in the streets.

While I am a fan of my refillable water bottle, there is now another option for people who choose to grab and go.

Based in California, Pathwater provides water that is purified using state-of-the-art seven-step reverse osmosis and that is contained in aluminum bottles that not only remain cold and fresh longer than plastic bottles but are also safer to refill and easier and more energy-efficient to recycle.

As aluminum can be melted down and reused infinitely, it encourages reuse and recycling and minimizes pollution. While many companies tout their ability to make new things out of old plastic bottles, when these new things wear out, they end up in landfills and do not fully decompose. Pathwater’s plan avoids all this by using a far more efficient material to contain their fresh and delicious water.

Already a huge hit on the West Coast (where many airports and municipalities are banning the use of single-use plastic bottles), Pathwater bottles are headed east, just in time to prevent the Atlantic Ocean from having more plastic bottles than fish.

So if you want to do more to help the environment and maybe hear me complain a little less, make a path to Pathwater and see the differences aluminum can make.
