I love to support entrepreneurs in the food space! These days, one of the best ways to support them is to connect them with funders and to get them to engage real talk about the industry so they know what to expect and how to succeed.

Once a month, a new community event series called realTLK (pronouced real talk) will be offering events that go beyond typical meet and greets to engaging panels where panelists are there to share their stories – good and bad. In fact, their first event in February focused on epic fails that their brave guests had endured and how they overcame them.

Created with industry professionals and co-hosted by WeWork Food Labs, realTLKwill encourage people to get down to the dirty details that they may gloss over or even hide at other networking events so that everyone can get the straight story and go forward together appropriately.
