Just in time to celebrate the woman who brought you into the world, some of our favorite Boston-area eateries are remerging into the world with special offerings!
On Sunday, May 9, Rare Steakhouse at the Encore Boston Harbor is hosting Mother’s Day brunch from noon until 8 PM, so you do not have to gamble with reservation times (although they are recommended!).In addition to specialty brunch cocktails, Chef John Ross is preparing locally-sourced seafood spectaculars, as well as exclusive Kobe cuts and prime beef from Snake River Farms and La Frieda Meats.
In Cambridge, Chef Will Gleason will kick off the return of his popular brunch serviced to Puritan & Co. with a specialprix fixe menu from noon to 7 PM, after which regular brunch service will return on the 16th.
If you want to catch a glimpse of yours truly, try Rochambeau in Back Bay, where charitable chef Nick Calias will bring French fare and his famed flair to the family day with a set of special Mother’s Day options that will be in addition to his already popular Sunday set.
Across Boylston Street, Back Bay Social Club will present a fun bunch of foods, including a chicken and waffle sandwich, Huevos Rancheros with ranchra sauce, and a Greek yogurt and fruit parfait with granola.
One street over, the Newbury staple Sonsie will offer to-go options for those who may want to visit Mom on her special day.
No matter where you go, you are sure to eat well and make Mom feel glad she raised you so well!
