Wine Folly

I have been writing about wine for many years, but am always looking for ways to educate myself so I can speak about it more intelligently and effectively.

I recently found a great book that can help anyone from interested amateurs to sophisticated sommeliers.

It is called Wine Folly and it is written by Madeline Puckette, creator of the acclaimed Wine Folly website.

Combining her expertise in wine and design, the 2013 wine blogger of the year has put together a book that offers color-coded diagrams and visual guides for every varietal and wine region. It also breaks down the often confusing and overwhelming wine-related terminology into categories that are easier to…digest. From what goes in the bottle to how to read a label, Wine Folly offers everything a wine fan (or wine writer) could want- all in one place.
