Golden Girl Granola

As with so many great food ideas, the O’Kelly family came up with their own lower-fat and fresher-flavored take on granola in their home kitchen in Carlisle in 2007. Little did they know that their wheat-free, locally-sourced granola would outgrow the local farmers market and become such a thing.

But here it is- bags of crunchy, healthy, and most of all yummy granola made with ingredients you can pronounce and recognize. What a concept!

On the website – www.goldengirlgranola.com – you can see where it is sold near you and what tasty recipes the O’Kellys have come up with.

Golden Girl Granola comes in all sorts of creative flavors, including combinations with local raw honey and organic maple syrup, tropical fruits, heart-healthy coconut and almonds, and even decadent chocolate. The 3 oz. bag is great for a hike or school snack, the 14 oz. bag fills a few cereal bowls and more than a few tummies, and the 12.5 pound bulk box is perfect for a zombie apocalypse or just a big fan- which you are sure to become after just one bite!
