Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.
The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:
It’s finally spring in New England, Jordan!
The flowers are blooming and the bees are buzzing.
But don’t fret, folks! Bees are our friends! Really! In fact, were it not for them, there would be no flowers.
But I do not want to preach. What I want to do is tell you about a great place to learn about bees and their most famous product- Honey.
Located at the Boston Public Market (which, by the way, will be open sevens days a week starting July 18), the Boston Honey Company offers not only a wide array of flavored and even nutrient-fortified honeys (including a protein-packed one that is amazing), but they also offer bee-based products like beeswax candles, soaps, and other skin care products. They even have a live hive in the window so guests can watch the bees do their magic without fear of being stung! No matter when you drop by, a member of the Reseska family is on hand to explain all about their bees and to help you pick the right products for your tastes. If you want, they can even help you establish your own home hive so you can make friends with the bees and help them help all of us enjoy the beauty and bounty of spring in New England.
