Two bites of heaven from Kitchen Millie

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:

I love cookies! Who doesn’t love cookies? What I don’t love, however, is getting a cookie that more resembles a salt lick Frisbee than something your family made together when you were a kid. There is enough guilt laced with cookie habit indulging- we don’t need to have trouble hiding it in public on top of everything else!

Fortunately, there sis Kitchen Millie. Started by a young entrepreneur who began her career by enhancing a childhood lemonade stand with smaller chocolate chip cookies that were just right for an added treat to wash down with the lemonade, Kitchen Millie offers what founder Michelle Wax calls “two-bite” cookies. Each one is freshly made using only the best local ingredients and then heat sealed to preserve freshness. Wax is also keen to return to her clients often to make sure her product has not been sitting on the shelves for too long, so each cookie is a fresh as the ones that used to have us licking the bowl (as some of us still do!).

They recently launched a Kickstarter expansion campaign to fund the build out of their new commercial kitchen space and storefront and are currently available all over town and on their website – www.kitckenmillie.com.

Kitchen Millie’s two-bite cookies are a great way to get the sweet, homemade taste of cookies without having to leave home to run 40 miles to work them off!
