Northeast Craft Beer Pavilion at Boston Globe Travel Show (February 10, 2017)

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:

We have talked a lot about the Wine Expo, Wine Festival and other wine-related events in recent months, but it is time to give beer its due!

On February 10-12, the Boston Globe Travel Show will return to the Seaport World Trade Center.

What does this have to do with beer?
Well, as part of the show, over 40 local brewers will convene the Northeast Craft Beer Pavilion to show off and share over 100 different brews! From Allagash and Bantam to Jack’s Abby and Lookout Farm to Two Roads and Wormtown, some of the best of New England (and even a bit beyond, like Virtue Cider from Michigan) will be on tap for Show goers’ enjoyment and edification.

As many of the local breweries use ingredients from around the world, they have arranged special tours that, in some cases, will go far outside the walls of the breweries. And besides, what is better than to plan the trip of your dreams while enjoying a new favorite beer?

As an extra-special treat, Lord Hobo in Cambridge will be bringing bites of their famous brunch to the Show on Sunday from 11-1:30.

Tickets are $35 and include admission to the Travel Show. Brunch tickets are $45 and also include admission.
