Sam Adams becomes official beer of Boston Red Sox

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com/) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Though the last time we heard about beer being enjoyed in Fenway Park, it did not end well, it is reassuring to know that one of Boston’s best will now be officially available for the fans (if not the players).

Starting this season, Sam Adams will replace that rice swill from Cardinal Land as the official beer of the Boston Red Sox, making the first official partnership between an American craft brewer and a major league franchise.

While Sam has been available in and around the Park for years, it will now be the most prominent pour throughout the property. Including at the newly-minted Sam Bar on the right field rooftop deck and Sammy’s On Third beneath the third base stands.

In addition to officially moving into their home stadium, Sam continues to add new flavors to its line-up, including the recently-released New England IPA and the ale/lager mash-up Sam ’76.

So next time you head to Fenway for a game or a meal at the Bleacher Bar or elsewhere in the area, rest assured that this Sam’s for you!
