Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.
The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:
While it may be vastly overused, the acronym YOLO (You Only Love Once) can still inspire passion and productivity. Case in point is the story of Gutgsell family from Jericho, VT, who gave up careers in other fields to dedicate their singular lives to a plurality of causes, all of which would be supported by their locally-made, gluten- and nut-free snacks.
The snacks include handmade popcorn that comes in such special flavors as Maple and Cheddar (both of which are made with real VT products), as well as KISS (Keepin’ It Sea Salt) and an Original flavor with nutritional yeast, dill and buttermilk powder that truly is original.
In addition to regulating blood sugar and aiding digestion in those who are fortunate enough to eat them, YOLO snacks also support such causes as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Special Olympics of VT. In addition, all unpoped kernels are donated to local farms to feed livestock, helping keep waste controlled and VT’s family farms running strong.
So the next time you are looking for a flavor to inspire your day (if not your life), try YOLO. After all… you know!
