The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:
As I talk about more wines, ciders, meads, beers, and other fine beverages, I run into the happy dilemma of preserving all the wonderful bottles I review and enjoy on behalf of our listeners.
Fortunately, while my Coravin continues to do a good job with wine, I have found a new system that works well even with bottles that come sans cork.
Using a neat physical principle called Henry’s Law, RePour stoppers actively remove the oxygen in any opened bottle without needing to inject any other chemicals- no matter how inert.
As each unit is only slightly larger than a regular cork, the FDA-approved RePour system is also smaller and less expensive than many other wine preservation systems and can actually be easily taken to parties, restaurants, and other places you may want to enjoy your beverages of choice.
So don’t be afraid to open that bottle just because you only want a glass or two. Now you can be confident in your ability to pour and repour thanks to…RePour!
