The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

As the packaged water beverage space continues to grow, more and more questionable ingredients continue to be added to what is usually fine from the tap and so in no need of environment-destroying packaging or improving.

Once in a while, however, a new development comes along that is not only all-natural and organic, but also actually an improvement on your everyday water.

One of the most recent of these has been SAP!, a plant-based water that was among the originators of the maple water craze and that has now expanded to include nutrient-rich sap from birch trees, which offers pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory nutrients and a subtle sweetness, all while keeping to 15 calories and no more than 3 grams of sugar per serving.

In addition to expanding their flavor line to include cranberry and goji berry, ginger and lemongrass, and tangerine and chamomile, and strawberry and habanero, SAP! continues to expand its outreach and the maple and birch-based products can now be found all over the east at Whole Foods and other popular retailers.

So even if you are a long-time fan of your local reservoir, SAP! may be your gateway to a work of more flavorful and nutritious hydration.
